Dr. Amir Abbassi
1955-2024
Former Clinic Director
Dr. Amir Abbassi served as Clinic Director and was a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Supervisor (LMFT-S), and a Certified Sex Therapist by AASECT. Dr. Abbassi was a professor emeritus and worked as a national and international consultant on marriage and family/child custody issues. He was a former president of the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Counselors.
